Hiking in 2012
When I look back on 2012, I look back on all the great hikes we did this year. We started the year with a weekend get-a-way in Brevard, North Carolina, home of the white squirrel. We drove all over town looking for white squirrels and I was so excited and took pictures every time I saw one. The weather was incredible! Mike and I stayed at a Bed & Breakfast and although it was nice, we found out real quick that we do not enjoy staying in a home with strangers. New Years Day was spent hiking to Bridal Veil Falls which is seen in the movie Hunger Games . We are standing on the falls in this picture and used the timer on the camera because no one else was there to take our picture. I only fell once coming down. LOL. We did several hikes this year in North Carolina and Bridal Veils was one of my favorites.
