Deep Sea Fishing
I normally enjoy writing about our hiking adventures when we go on vacation and my intent was to write about hiking in Florida but there isn’t much to say on that subject so instead I'll talk about deep sea fishing. After taking our Dramamine the night before, we got up at 5am, left the condo and got on a private charter boat at 6:30, leaving out of Destin, Florida. We went out with the captain and two deck hands. The deck hands were awesome! They made sure the girls didn’t have to touch the bait or the fish. It was wonderful! First stop – We caught small bait fish. Second stop – We caught a few Snappers. I caught a Trigger Fish which had to be thrown back. Third Stop – We went to the spot where the Amberjack hang out. The deck hands gave us a lesson before we did anything. They explained that once the first fish was caught, things would move really fast.
